These terms apply to almanacofthegods.com (the "Site"), run by Gancanagh LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What the Site is

The Site is an independent fan reference about places, people and events discussed on the television series Ancient Aliens and in ancient-astronaut writing. It presents the ancient-astronaut view alongside mainstream scholarship. It is for entertainment and general information only. We try to be accurate and cite our sources, but we make no promise that everything is complete, current or correct. Travel notes are general; check official sources and current travel advisories before you go anywhere.

Not affiliated with the show

The Site is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by History, A&E Television Networks, Prometheus Entertainment, or any person featured on the show. ANCIENT ALIENS is a trademark of A&E Television Networks, LLC; we use the name only to identify the show we are writing about.

Our content and other people's content

The text, design and code of the Site belong to Gancanagh LLC. You may share links and quote short passages with credit. Please do not copy whole pages.

Photographs come from Wikimedia Commons and other sources under Creative Commons or public-domain terms. Each photo's author and license are shown beneath it, and those licenses, not these terms, govern your reuse of those photos.

Photos you send us

Some pages let you send a photo of a place. If you send one:

• You confirm you took the photo, or have the right to share it, and that it does not break anyone's copyright, privacy or other rights.
• You keep the copyright. You give Gancanagh LLC a free, worldwide, non-exclusive, permanent licence to display, resize and crop the photo on the Site and in posts that promote the Site, with the name you give as credit.
• Please do not send photos showing identifiable people who have not agreed, or anything illegal, hateful or explicit.
• We review every photo before it appears and may decline or remove any photo at any time without giving a reason.
• To have your photo taken down, email gancanaghllc@gmail.com and tell us which photo it is.

Copyright complaints

If you believe something on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice to gancanaghllc@gmail.com that includes: your name and contact details; the work you say is infringed; the web address of the material on the Site; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We will remove or disable material that is properly reported, and we will stop accepting uploads from anyone who repeatedly infringes.

Links, ads and affiliate links

The Site links to other websites, which we do not control. The Site may show advertising and include affiliate links that earn us a commission; see our disclosures.

No warranty and limit of liability

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Gancanagh LLC is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date below shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA.
